内容介绍 :	Lau Siu-wing is the object of affection of two sisters, Lang Yuet-ying and Lang Yuet-wah. Yuet-ying is kind and gentle, while Yuet-wah is impulsive and is frank in expressing her love. Siu-wing is in love with Yuet- ying but lacks boldness in declaring his love. Meanwhile, the sisters' father, Hark-kar, suffers heavy losses in the stock market. Businessman Yim Ho-yin lends him money on condition that he be allowed to marry Yuet-ying. However, Hark-kar refuses, even though his second wife, Suet-ching, advises him to accept. Siu-wing and his sister, Wai-fong, are about to return to Singapore to see their parents. Learning that her sister is in love with Siu-wing and her father's plight, Yuet-ying decides to marry Ho-yin. Yuet-wah later learns from Wai-fong that her sister agreed to marry Ho-yin as an act of sacrifice. She decides not to marry Siu-wing out of guilt, resulting in Siu-wing leaving for Singapore all in sorrow. A year later, Siu-wing and his sister return to learn that Yuet-ying is dead and that her spirit haunts her house. Deep at night, Siu-wing hears her voice breaking out in song. Following the sound, he finds out that she is not dead. It is so happened that the Lang family business had flopped and Hark-kar and Ho-yin both passed away. Siu-wing finally musters up the courage to declare his love for Yuet-ying, but it is now her turn to reject him. (Extracted from the film novel.)
