内容介绍 :	The judge Xin Shuzheng investigates a murder case. The suspect Chia Lan-fang is unable to state her own defense because of her mental instability. Zheng seeks help from a doctor, but the doctor needs to know her past before he can proceed to help her. Zheng suspects that Lan-fang is his former girlfriend, Yu Xiaocui because they look alike. He tells the doctor the story. Cui and her mother worked in Qian's family. Cui and the young master Qian Shaoyi fell deeply in love with each other. Yi's father opposed to their love and threatened to sever the father and son relation. Yi did not give in, and he left with Cui and her mother to set up a new family instead. When Cui gave birth to a baby, her mother died at the same time. Yi was dismissed by his firm because of his family preoccupations. He could only support his family by drawing. After several years, with Yi losing his eyesight owing to brain tumor, Cui becomes the sole breadwinner of the family. Yi leaves, under the misapprehension that Cui has had an affair with Zheng, whom she met at work. Master Liu sold Cui together with her son to a pimp, Mrs. Chia, coerces her into prostitution, but Cui resists and kills Liu, she was shocked. After knowing all about her past, the doctor succeeds in curing Cui. Cui's case is presided over by none other than Zheng. Xin gives a lenient sentence of three years imprisonment. Zheng finds Cui's son, and helps her to reunite with Yi. He wait for Cui's release and start a new life together.
