内容介绍 :	Fa Kwok-wai is a typical prodigal son. Patronized by his rich father, he spends his days seeking all sensual pleasures and idling around doing nothing. When he runs into a female maid called Yuk-ha, he is stunned by her beauty and he starts wooing her. Ha's sick mother needs hospitalization but the poor family runs short of money. Wai helps them generously with money and Ha's mother betroths her daughter to Wai before her death. After the marriage Wai slips back to his old frivolous ways. He and his hanger-on Chan Chuen-chung lead a life of debauchery. Ha advises him earnestly and kindly but the husband rebukes her. Ha meekly submits to all such adversity. Feeling distressful of the son's indulgence, Wai's father eventually falls ill and dies. Wai indulges in gambling and loses the father's inheritance on the gambling table. Still he shows no regret. Moreover, he is ensnared by villains quite unknowingly and is nearly killed. In the moment of destitution , he meets Chan again and the latter ridicules him. Shamefacedly, Wai eventually becomes fully aware of his past debauchery and works energetically for a good prospect. He pulls a rickshaw around carrying passengers to their destinations. When Ha realizes that Wai has mended his ways , she intentionally disguises as a passenger to sound him out, still fearing that he is not truly reforming. Not know the identity of Ha, Fa starts a conversation with Ha. When Ha is definitely sure that her husband has become a reformed man, she forgives him and the two renew their cordial relationships as husband and wife.
