内容介绍 :	Chan Fuk, owner of the Hup Fung Sugar Factory, opposes his daughter Chin-wan to marry treacherous Ma Lun . Lun kills him, then marries Chin-wan. One night, Lun's former lover, Dana, tells Chin-wan that Ma kills her father. Knowing the truth, Chin-wan immediately flees by car. But Lun has tampered with the car. It loses control and runs down the river. But Chin-wan manages to escape. She goes to Autumn Leaf Village to Seek Dana's help in exposing Lun's crime. At this juncture, Lun has posted a notice in the newspaper looking for his wife. Young man Tse Sum, who happens to See the notice, spots Chin-wan and follows her to Autumn Leaf Village, seizing a chance to acquaint himself with Chin-wan. Sum then informs Lun of his wife's whereabouts. Lun attempts to kill his wife but in vain. That night, suffering from fear and anxiety, Chin-wan tells Sum the story. Though sympathetic, Sum recalls that Lun has told him that his wife is mentally ill and lets Lun take her away. Finally, Sum learns the truth about Lun and helps Chin-wan escape. They look for Dana, but Dana, now working for Lun, lures Chin-wan back to the sugar factory. A struggle follows. Lun kills Dana by mistake, and himself falls from a height and dies in a struggle with Sum. (Extracted from the film novel.)
