内容介绍 :	Li Peiying and her father Li Baoming, a writer, have been leading a quiet life until one day a well-to -do aunt Mrs Zeng comes visiting from Italy. Ming treats the visitor indifferently. Zeng gives Ying a lot of presents and a piano. Ming sends them back to her and even goes to the hotel to argue with her. Ying overhears the secret that Zeng turns out to be Ying's natural mother who cheated on Ying's birth father and left Hong Kong after giving birth to Ying. She now returns to claim Ying. After Ming is gone, Ying enters and accuses her mother of shameless behaviour, leaving her and her father . Ming ask Ying to forgive her mother because they all have suffered. On her birthday, Ying holds a birthday party at home, she waits for Ming for a long time. Ming cannot return home because he has a traffic accident and one of his legs is broken. Ying feels very depressed. Zeng regrets when she recalls how she forsook Ying and eloped with Tsang Chi-ping. Ping comes to Hong Kong to take Ying to Italy because he is actually the father of Ying. Nonetheless, Ying insists to stay in Hong Kong to take care of her foster father.
