内容介绍 :	Factory worker Ho Suk-fun is raped by rowdy Lee Wai and becomes pregnant. After giving birth, Suk-fun and the baby are forsaken by the rowdy and lead a wandering existence. An accident occurs on their ferry. Suk-fun and her child survive, but passenger Dai Chun-wah's wife and son are both drown. Chun -wah invites Suk-fun to go home with him, and even requests that Suk-fun pretend to be his wife before his sick father in order not to worsen the old man's health. Suk-fun is at a loss to explain the real situation to the old man after his recovery. Lee Wai, on the run from the police for killing a man, turns up at the locality where Suk-fun is living. He meets Suk-fun by chance and blackmails her. Suk-fun is at an impasse. After a series of twists and turns, Chun-wah's father comes to understand Suk-fun's real identity. But now, Suk-fun has been forced by Wai to meet him in a hotel. To save Suk-fun, Chun- wah confronts Wai, and during the struggle, Suk-fun kills Wai. (Based on a newspaper article.)
