内容介绍 :	Kam Tak-shing is in love with cousin Hung To-yim. Yim is poor and has to work as a maid in the Kam family, she is unable to gain the acceptance of Shing's mother. Kam's mother desires a rich prospective daughter-in-law, she plans to force an announcement of the marriage between her son and Yu Tak- chu, a rich woman, in Shing's birthday banquet. Before she can do so, Shing has run away with Yim. Yim soon gives birth to a son while she is suffering from tuberculosis. To make Shing cease his love to Yim, his mother does not hesitate to lure Yim's father to co-operate and fabricates the death of Yim from an illness to make Shing change his mind. Shing plunges into depression and becomes ill, he finally learns the truth and succeeds in persuading his mother to give her blessing to their union.
