内容介绍 :	Luo Meiyin (nicknamed Xiao Ling) was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. She becomes involved with Li Jianzhong (nicknamed Xiao Ming), inviting him to her birthday party. Because he is poor, Jianzhong is snubbed. Meiyin's parents think he is not a suitable friend for her, and make sure that she and Jianzhong do not become close. With the encouragement of his mother, Jianzhong resolves to study hard. He soon wins a scholarship to study overseas. After several years, Jianzhong returns home, still thinking about Meiyin. He searches for her but to no avail. He learns that her circumstances have changed for the worse and that she is now working as a songstress. Jianzhong attends one of her performances in a nightclub but as he is about to approach her, a fire breaks out. He suffers serious injuries while saving Meiyin. He is hospitalised, but his heroism is carried in the newspapers. Meiyin goes to hospital to visit him. However , Jianzhong is disfigured and does not reveal his real identity to Meiyin. Not knowing that he is her childhood sweetheart, she makes an old friend as new. After Jianzhong comes out of the hospital, Meiyin visits his home and soon finds out the real identity of her hero.
