内容介绍 :	Before departing for a business trip in the Philippines, Lui Wai-leung announces to his relatives and friends his engagement to his girlfriend, Luk Sheung-hing. His good friend, Li On-ling, feels sad because he has a secret love for Hing. Leung is missing in a shipwreck and he is thought to be dead. Hing and Ling become a couple under the persuasion of Ling and Hing's brother. Though Hing is married to Ling, she still struggles to forget Leung. Hing rarely laughs after getting married. Ling is displeased with this and always gets drunk. Their relationship does not improve even after Hing gives birth to a son called Tin-sing. Lui has returned safe and sound, Ling thinks that their old affair has revived and thus banishes Luk. Hing is allowed to meet her son Sing only once a year, on the Mid-Autumn festival. Hing goes out to work to bring up her daughter , Yuet-mui, who was born after she left Ling's family. Now that Eighteen years later, Sing and Mui become lovers and Hing is seriously opposed to it. Later, Sing learns about the matter of Hing leaving Ling's family and misunderstands her. Mui is angry with Hing for her opposition to her romance with Sing and leaves home to meet Sing. When Leung comes with his family to visit Ling, Ling finally realises his mistake and reconciles with Hing.
