内容介绍 :	Maidservant To Kuen-hung is pregnant with the child of her lover Cheung Tat -man. After Man has gone to the capital for the imperial examination, his aunt finds out that Hung is pregnant. In order to protect Man, Hung decides not to tell the truth. As a result, she is banished by Cheung's aunt, Madam Yeung. On her way to the capital to meet her lover, Hung catches a disease. She is taken in by an inn-keeper and his wife. They pretend to heal her by giving her abortion medicine and plan to use her to do prostitution. The son of the prime minister, carrying a lot of money, checks in the hostel. The boss and his wife kill him and take away his money, Hung gets implicated in a robbery and the murder of the couple. She is jailed while the couple run away . Returned as the Number One Scholar, Man seeks to redress the case but to no avail. The prime minister is determined to take revenge for his son, Hung is sentenced to exile. Just when a disillusioned Man resolves to forsake his government post to lead a drifting life with Hung, they are suspected of having an illicit affair by the high official and sentenced to execution. Fortunately, the murderers are arrested at this critical moment. Hung is cleared of the charge, making it possible for the couple to wed lawfully.
