内容介绍 :	Lee Kwong is the scion of a noble family in Hangzhou, excels in both literary studies and martial arts. Kwong swears a pact of friendship with Tsui Man-bing, Tsui Man-leung, Kwong Ming and Cheung Kuk. These five men go to Yangzhou where they meet a native of Jiangning by the name of Cho Wan, also known as Valiant Poon On. They are later joined by other heroes, and set about the cause of doing battle against the evil forces of society in the capital, and form a militia to fight off the barbarians at the border. Wan is in fact Ping-neung, daughter of Wan Ching, a scholar of the Imperial School. Having been ambushed in a set-up and was thrown into the river, Ping-neung was saved by Cho, the Imperial Minister of Internal Affairs, and his wife, who then gave her shelter in their house thinking all along that Wan is a man. Eventually, the truth of Wan's identity is revealed. Wan's own mother had earlier arranged for her to marry Kwong. Knowing Wan's background, the Empress Dowager orders Wan to enter the palace as a female, and adopts her as goddaughter. Finally, she is given away by the emperor in marriage to Kwong.
