内容介绍 :	This story occurs in Taiwan in the 1970s. Dannie Sung always thinks that she has inherited her dead mother's mental disorder and is afraid of interacting with other people. Thus, her character is both unsociable and suspicious of others. One day she meets a promising young man Chiang Tao at the seaside. They fall in love with each other at first sight and soon become lovers. Later, Chiang discovers that Dannie's step-mother Yun-hsin turns out to be his elder brother's wife, who deserted her husband and daughter five years ago and has never returned home. Chiang fully understands Yun-hsin's difficulties and therefore helps her keep the secret. Unfortunately, the contact between Chiang and Yun-hsin is misunderstood by Dannie, who thinks that they are having an affair. Dannie is furious. Not only does she refuse to see Chiang, she also quarrels with Yun-sien and knits her brows in anxiety all the time. Unable to tell Dannie the truth, Chiang has no choice but to accept Dannie's cold shoulder without saying anything. In the end, Yun-hsin returns to her ex-husband. It is only at this time that Dannie realizes that she has mistakenly blamed Chiang. At the same time, she has proved that she does not have schizophrenia. All her suspicions and worries now dissipate, so she and Chiang reach a rapprochement.
