内容介绍 :	Ho Siu-ling is adopted by Ku Chi-ming's father since young. In the course of time, Ku Chi-ming has fallen in love with Siu-ling without realizing it, however, Siu-ling only treats him as her elder brother. When Siu-ling engages with Yu Keung, Chi-ming sends his heart-broken blessings. Yet on the night of the engagement, Yu Keung's father suddenly arrives from Singapore and asks Yu Keung to cancel the engagement or else he will disown Yu Keung. Keung gives in and follows his father back to Singapore because he is afraid of losing his money and status. Siu-ling is very sad but she promises to wait for Keung's return for marriage. Three years later, Siu-ling decides to go to Singapore to find Keung. She finds that Keung still loves her deeply but he does not want to give up the money and the status that his father endows him with. Siu-ling is greatly disappointed. When she returns to Hong Kong, she is prepared to commit suicide but is finally saved by Chi-ming. Chi-ming once again reveals his love for Siu-ling and proposes to marry her. When Siu-ling finds that he has brain cancer, she agrees to marry him for what he has done for her. Yet when Chi-ming learns of his health situation, he goes straight to Singapore to find Keung and asks him to return to Siu-ling. At last, Keung realizes how important Siu-ling is to him and returns to Hong Kong with Chi-ming. Chi-ming finally dies for cancer.
