内容介绍 :	The writer Ko Wah and the rich girl Lai-sze come to know each other through a misunderstanding . Each leaves a bad impression on the other. However, Lai-sze is a great admirer of Ko Wah's writings. Wah's good friend "Valentino" wants to court Lai-sze and begs Wah to writer love letters for him. Lai-sze is moved by the love letters which she recognizes right from the beginning to be Wah's writings. In their next encounter, they tell each other about themselves thoroughly and fall quickly in love with one another. Unfortunately, just before their engagement, Wah discovers that he is suffering from an incurable illness. To free Lai-sze from any burden, Wah leaves Lai-sze to face their relatives and friends on the night of their engagement. Lai-sze is extremely upset and she goes out to have a wild time with Wah's colleague Man Lai-shun. After which, Man tries to get close with Lai-sze, wanting to win both her and her fortune. Secretly, he takes some sensuous pictures of Lai-sze and blackmails Lai-sze. Lai-sze does not want to break her parents' heart so she agrees to Man's proposal, planning to kill Man and commit suicide afterwards. Lai-sze's good friend Mui Na looks for Wah and begs him to save Lai-sze. Wah is heartbroken and goes straight to save Lai-sze. He has a big fight with Man and Lai-sze kills Man by accident. She is arrested by the police and is freed after investigation. Lai-sze learns of Wah's incurable illness and she decides to accompany him until the end of his life. Wah accepts and suggests her to do something meaningful for the society. He dies after a few months. The heartbroken Lai-sze keeps her promise. Besides taking care of Wah's mother, she donates the corpse of Wah for medical research.
