内容介绍 :	Fung Ying is saved from the sea but dies later after having given birth to a daughter, Siu -fung. Siu-fung is eventually adopted by Chau-tung and grows up together with Sui-sing and Mei Shan, the son and daughter of Chau-tung. Sui-sing gradually falls in love with Siu-fung. Later, Sui- sing gets to know the son of Kin-ping, Leung-wah, while he is studying at a University in town. After graduation, they return to their native village and Leung-wah stays temporarily at the home of Sui-sing. Mei- shan has love for Leung-wah, but he dislikes her pampered temper. Instead, Leung-wah has a secret love for Siu-fung, who is gentle and kind. Owning to his weak character, Sui-sing dares not propose marriage in front of Chau-tung though he loves Siu-fung deeply. Leung-wah encourages Sui-sing to leave home together with Siu-fung. However, Siu-fung does not want to run away with Sui-sing because she regards him only as her elder brother. To nib the hope of Sui-sing in the bud, Chau-tung wants to sell Siu-fung away. Siu-fung begs him bitterly to stop this idea and offers him a jade passed on to her by Fung Ying. Not until now that Chow Tong knows that Siu-fung is his own blood and he feels deeply regret for his deed.
