内容介绍 :	So Suet-lau and Cheung Siu-to are in love and To has already conceived Lau's baby. However, Lau's father is very ill and he has to return to his hometown to see his father. Lau's elder brother Suen-tin is an addicted gambler, he has lost all his father's fortune in gambling, provoked him to death. Lau's family is broken up and decimated, Tin even kicked Lau out of the family. To and her father lose their home in a fire and she loses contact with Lau, she is unable to find Lau when she goes to his home. To please his creditor Kim-chau, Tin lies to To that Lau no longer loves her. By hook and by crook, Tin presses To to marry Chau. Thinking To fickle, Lau marries song girl Pak Ying-mui, and drinks his days away and beats up Mui. A tormented Mui seeks to end her life, To comes to her rescue. Lau thinks that Mui is dead and he feels very much sorry . He pays hommage to his wife by the side of the river. To bringing about the union of the distressed trio, Lau resolves to pull himself together and be a responsible father and husband.
