内容介绍 :	Ting Tai-fu, a local bully, deserts his mistress Lau Shui-fong and her two children. Fortunately, Fu's wife comes to rescue and look after the poor woman. When Fu is shot by the police, the two women flee with their four children. To express her gratitude to Fu's wife, Lau agrees to take care of her children when she dies. Since Lau cannot afford raising four children by herself, she sells her boy and girl to Yu family. Years later, Lau's "children" Wai-choi and Lai-ngo have grown up. They are hard working students. To pay for the expensive school fee for her children, Lau works as a freelance laundry woman and tailor for Hing Man and his younger sister Siu-lan. The rich brother and sister treat Lau cruelly. Man even knocks her down by a car. When Choi and Ngo visit their mother in the hospital, they realize how difficult it is for their mother to earn money. They decide to work part time to lessen Lau's burden. Lau falls seriously sick. When Ngo tries to prepare a great amount of money to pay for her mother's hospital fee, she is offered help from Man who is attracted by her beauty. When Ngo goes to a hotel to get the money, Man tries to rape her. Lau shows up and tries to save her daughter. In struggles, Man falls down from the building and is seriously injured.
