内容介绍 :	Writer Tin-ngan goes to Singapore to collect information for his novel. His friend John is infatuated with a renowned opera actress, Si-wan, and asks her to be their tour guide. Wan admires Ngan's beautiful literary style and immediately agrees. Wan and Ngan fall in love, but Wan's mother is opposed. Wan becomes listless, so her mother has no alternative but to agree to their marriage. Since Ngan's three elder brothers all marry foreigners, his father hopes that Ngan will marry a Chinese woman. But he thinks that Wan is Malaysian, and is furious. However, Ngan insists on taking Wan as his wife and his mother cannot help but agree. After Wan and Ngan return to Hong Kong, Ngan's father immediately sends him overseas to handle his business, so he can see whether Wan is a good woman. Ngan's three elder brothers pass on a false report that Wan knows witchcraft, which makes their father cautious and he protects himself at every turn. But he is finally able to see that Wan has decorous and elegant manners and is kind-hearted. He immediately summons Ngan back home so that he and Wan can marry.
