内容介绍 :	Tse Yuk-ying and Chu Nam-shan are a loathsome couple. One day , they quarrel over some minor matter, and Ying accidentally kills Shan, she is then sentenced to 25 years imprisonment for manslaughter. In jail, she gives birth to a son, Ying entrusts her son to an orphanage before serving her time in prison for mistakenly killing her husband. who later is sent to an orphanage. On her release, Ying is employed by Ko Chi-sing as a servant. Sing is a medical student and is in love with a nurse, Lee Mei-kwan. However, he is financially dependent on the inherited fortune that his uncle committed to his father for safekeeping. Moreover, his snooty cousin, Cheung Yin-ping, who has a crush on him, is resentful and contemptuous of him. Sing's affair with Kwan is intercepted by his father, who makes Ko's identity as an orphan known. Yet, Sing determines not to marry Ping and runs away from home, vowing to be with Kwan for the rest of his life. In a coincidence, Ying recognises Ko as her son by the birthmark on his back, but their reunion is cut short by death in a car accident.
