内容介绍 :	Overseas Chinese, Ou Bo-chien, comes back to Hong Kong from Southeast Asia hoping to find his daughter Kuo Yu-mei, who also has the nickname "Jade". They have been separated for 20 years. The editors of People's Daily are very helpful and assist in reuniting many families. When Lin Mei-hua, a reporter for People's Daily , learns that Ou wants to find his daughter, she volunteers to help him. However, of all the girls called Jade they find, none is Ou's daughter. Among these girls, some are good, some are bad, some are rich while others are poor. Though Ou cannot find his daughter, during the search he buids up a close relationship with Lin and befriends her family. He knows that Lin is married to Shen Jia-yi and has a daughter called Hsiao Bo. Although both Lin and his daughter are 22 years old, Ou knows that Lin could not be his daughter as Lin has a father. Ou is very disappointed and decides to go back to Southeast Asia. When he is on his way to the airport, the taxi driver misunderstands that Bo is Ou's granddaughter and so Ou's trip is delayed. While seeking Bo, Ou meets an old friend, Kuo Ya-wang, in Kai Tak Park. Kuo was the one who helped Ou to take care of his daughter. He tells Ou that in order to escape from the oppression of Warlord Chen, he changed the surname of Ou's daughter to Lin. Thus, Lin Mei-hua is actually Ou's daughter Kuo Yu-mei. Lin and Ou are finally reunited.
