内容介绍 :	Lam Yu-so and Chan Shui-kit are wives of two brothers in Fu family. They are close like sisters. So's husband dies early, so she is seen as an unauspicious person and treated poorly by other family members. Old Fu is getting old , so he orders Kit to take care of the household. Old Fu's wife Mui gets jealous of Kit and becomes very upset about the whole matter. Mui has an eye on the fortune of the Fu family. Together with her secret lover Chow Wai-kwan , she plots to frame up Kit. Kit is kicked out by the family. So promises to raise her son Chi-chung to become a great man. Not long after, Old Fu and his son die. Mui elopes away with Kwan and her daughter Fu Wai-Man. War breaks out. So escapes to Hong Kong and reunites with Kit. They are happy to see each other, yet they feel difficult about their conditions. Chung has a serious disease, so Kit becomes a prostitute to earn money to cure him. Chung is very hardworking. He has good relationship with Man. Kit, thinking about his future, does not dare to tell him that she is his mother. Kwan gambles away all the money. She tells Man to become a nightclub hostess to cover his debt. Man reluctantly agrees.
