内容介绍 :	Li-fang has been married since she is fifteen years old. Her husband He Zhaotang went overseas to seek work soon after their wedding, leaving Fang to live with her mother-in-law, brother- in-law and sister-in-law Yuzhen. Receiving the message from her father-in-law that they are returning home, Fang is excited as she longs for meeting her husband. However, she is being let down as only her cousin Yao -ting comes back. Fang is in great sorrow. Ting is close to Zhen and tells her secretly that Tang passed away from an illness prior to his journey home. Lifang's in-laws keep the news from Lifang, who has been waiting for He's return for fifteen years. Zhen is in sorrow, fearing that Fang cannot bear the misery, she keeps the fact in secret. Three months passed by, Fang's father-in-law comes back but she is being let down again. When Zhen is pressed by her father to marry an overseas Chinese, she voices her opposition in view of Fang's plight. Fang finally learns the truth when she overhears their conversation and leads the remaining days of her life in despondency.
