内容介绍 :	Situ Dawei, who lives in genteel poverty, is supported by his rich uncle Sze-to Shiu-lin. He is so extravagant that he gets engaged to the rich Helen Chang to guarantee an easy life. Female burglar Zhao Wenying breaks into the building where he is living. Wei and his butler Ah Kam spot her when she breaks into his place. Ying is young and beautiful, and for that reason, Wei not only pardons her but also assists her escape. Ying befriends Wei, decides to stop stealing and resolves to marry him. The two immediately hit it off. Wei knows that Ying is determined to start a clean slate. Then Ying proposes marriage. Wei refuses since he does not want to give up Helen's fortune . On the other hand, Ying gathers that Wei and his fiancee are just using each other and therefore plans to break them up. She goes to his uncle Lin for help. She tells him that Wei is forsaking her for a rich girl. He is upset about his nephew's greed and wants Wei to leave Helen. Ying's father, Chao Shu-ju, supports the marriage along with Lin after he finds out that the groom-to-be is the rich man's nephew. Wei gradually comes to like Ying, yet he still lingers on with Helen. He brings Helen home. She is enraged and breaks off the engagement when she sees Ying lying on Wei's bed. It is Wei who first comes to his senses and decides to work hard. The two become a loving couple .
