内容介绍 :	Lap-shing has a deep filial affection for his parents. Because his brother,Lap-tak, abandoned the elderly couple, he is determined to take up the burden of supporting the family. Unfortunately, harsh living conditions defeat him. Lap-shing hurts Lap-tak in a fight and is wanted by the police. He chances to meet Oi-lin, who has a righteous mind. With the help of Oi-lin, Lap-shing manages to escape.Five years have passed when a "filial" thief appears. He specially steals from those rich people who do not respect their parents and uses the money to relieve the poor. The police feel helpless. Oi-lin has become a cop and is appointed to handle the case. She knows that it is Lap-shing who has committed the crimes. Oi-lin, although in opposition to Lap-shing, is sympathetic to what he has done and refuses to carry out her duty. Lap-shing's mother dies. He goes to her funeral, risking arrest. His deed moves the general public, who make a unanimous plea. As a result, Lap-shing is released without trial.
