内容介绍 :	Young Banker Kam Sung-kei loves Ching Yin-chau's daughter Ching Lai-chu. However, the lady is in love with a young musician, Tam Tze-wah. They get engaged but Ching Yin-chau begs her to marry Sung-kei because he needs a great deal of money to avoid bankruptcy. Tze-wah rebukes Lai-chu for ignoring her commitment and making a fool of him. On the wedding day, he asks his friend, Pao Tin-fong, to present his musical score to Lai-chu while he goes to Macau to teach music at a secondary school. There he meets Lee Yee-wan, who looks like Lai-chu and appreciates his talents. They get married.Sung-kei is upset when he learns that Lai-chu is still keeping Tze-wah's musical score. He is further irritated when Lai-chu admits that she sold the diamond he gave her to sponsor the publication of Tze-wah's music. He begins to hang around and gamble all night at a courtesan's home. Lai-chu gets sick. When Tze-wah becomes popular and comes back to Hong Kong to perform, Lai-chu insists on going to his performance, Tze-wah is still mad at Lai-chu and insults her in public. Tin-fong tells Tze-wah the story of Lai-chu and how she helped him to build up his career. Yee-wan then realises the reason that Tze-wah married her. She fights with Tze-wah and warns Lai-chu not to break up her family. Tze-wah visits Lai-chu, apologises and wants to be with her again. However, she asks him to love Yee-wan. Sung-kei, who regrets what he has done to his wife, to her at her bedside. Lai-chu dies with a smile.
