内容介绍 :	The area around Uncle Kwai's ancestral grave, discovered to be rich in minerals, attracts real estate developers. Afraid of being deceived, Aunt Kwai goes to the city to ask her son-in-law, So-man, for assistance. So-man is preoccupied by his own business and is not able to help. Aunt Kwai is then asked to employ a lawyer. Uncle Kwai, accompanied by his son Little Shrimp, goes to the city to complete the procedures for the land sale. Having been a farmer for half of his life, he cannot help plunging into the dazzling world. Aunt Kwai and Little Shrimp's fiancee, Ah Lan, try in vain to find Uncle Kwai. Their travelling expenses run out and Aunt Kwai even catches a disease. In order to pay the rent, Ah Lan becomes a singer in a restaurant. After being obscenely insulted by the guests, Ah Lan changes her job to work in a factory . A dancer robs Uncle Kwai of all his money as he falls into a drunken sleep. After learning this, So Man and his wife rush to help. They trade their property for money at the expense of familial peace and tranquillity.
