内容介绍 :	Merchant Leung Shui-yin wants to make money in his business and forces his daughter Suk-yee to marry the old man Lui Pak-hoi, who already has a wife. Suk-yee's protests are ignored and so she runs away. Suk-yee does not have anywhere to go. Then she meets the five-year-old Kuen, who asks her home to work as a maid. Kuen lost her mother in infancy and grew up with just her father , Wai-choi. Smart little Kuen realises that Suk-yee has fallen in love with her father and wants them to get married. She praises Suk-yee to her father to make him like her and suggests to her father that he should make Suk -yee her mother. Wai-choi and Suk-yee become lovers. Meanwhile, the old man Lui has not given up the idea of marrying Suk-yee and offers a twenty-thousand-dollar reward to have Suk-yee found. Suk- yee then arranges for herself to be 'found' by Wai-choi so that he can get the reward. She knows Lui is in great fear of his wife and invites Lui's wife to her 'wedding' with Lui. Lui does not know what to do when he sees his wife and makes Wai-choi take the role of the bridegroom. Suk-yee's father has to accept such an arrangement, and the lovers are finally married. Kuen also gets a loving mother.
