内容介绍 :	Black Jade Lin's parents have died. She seeks refuge with her grandmother at House of Rongguo in Jiangnan. She meets her cousin Paoyu. Paoyu grew in a place surrounding with women. He doesn't like studying but he gets all the love from the family. Paoyu and Black Jade find each other congenial. On the other hand, Paoyu's another cousin Precious Clasp visits in House of Rongguo too. The three of them play in the Rongguo Mansion all day long. Although Paoyu is kind to Precious Clasp, he loves Black Jade most. Her Ladyship finds Paoyu has lost his head over Black Jade, she is going to arrange a "warding-off" wedding. But she thinks that Black Jade is too weak, not a face showing good fortune. Thus, Aunt Phoenix suggests a plan to lure Paoyu into wedding. Paoyu is so happy that he thinks he will marry Black Jade. However, the bride is actually Precious Clasp. When Black Jade knows about it, she is agitated to faint. Paoyu shows up the fraud on the wedding night, he is so angry and he breaks off the engagement. However, poor Black Jade has already died. Paoyu is dispirited and he renounces the family to become a monk.
