内容介绍 :	Yuen Ngan-ming asks his old classmate, Lui Bo-keung, to investigate a strange business. Five years ago, Yuen's wife Chong Lai-chu began to see the ghosts of her sister Lai-chun and her stepmother. Such experiences have left her in poor mental health. Lui follows Lai-chu to a medium, then to Yuanlam Temple and a shop that sells clothing for the deceased. At home, Lai-chu changes into clothing for the deceased and attempts to hang herself. Lui manages to stop her in time. Yuen tells Lui that Lai-chu is always not herself every year when the alleged Night for the Return of the Dead approaches. On that night, the Yuens' maid is too afraid to stay and Yuen is hospitalised for an illness. Only Lui stays at home with Lai-chu. Then, a female "ghost" with long hair suddenly appears at the window. Lui suspects it was someone pretending to be a ghost.Late one night, Lai-chu asks Lui to meet her at Yuanlam Temple and tells him she has to die that very night. Lui has a weak heart and cannot catch up with Lai-chu. Then Lai-chu jumps from a tower. Lui has his doubts and continued to investigate.Lui gets home and receives a call from Lai-chu , asking him to meet her at a graveyard. Lui's cousin, Chau-hung, secretly tells their father, who is a detective. It turns out that Yuen is waiting at the graveyard and pushes Lui into an open grave. The detective arrives in time and Yuen is shot. The truth is that Yuen is after Laichu's fortune, which she inherited from her ex-husband five years ago. She only realised Yuen's intentions after they got married. Yuen controlled her sister, Lai-chun, and was responsible for all the "ghosts" seen by Lai-chu, aiming to get her money.
