内容介绍 :	Widow Rose Pak becomes a social butterfly to provide for the livelihood of her daughter. Cheung Ming, a teacher, takes pity on her. Rose has contracted tuberculosis and her admirers withdraw from her. Only Ming remains concerned about her, he encourages her to begin a new life. Their love grows day by day , Ming proposes to start a new life with Rose. Their plan meets with opposition from Rose's daughter, Ming is sacked as a result. Ming's mother begs Rose to leave. Rose resumes her old profession, to Ming's outrage. When a frail and sickly Rose finally gains the understanding of everyone, she is lying on her deathbed.
