内容介绍 :	Luk Yau gives his cousin Tong Wai-sin a gold phoenix hairpin and Tong to Luk a jade bangle as their love reputation. Law Yuk-shu, son of a high official, craves for Tong. Law bribes a Taoist nun and a fortune-teller to tell Yau's mother that Sin's fate is harmful to Luk. Then, Luk's mother urges Luk to leave for the imperial exam while pressing Tong to become a nun. Law wants to rape Sin at the nunnery, but Tik Ying kills Law and burns the nunnery. Earlier, Law had bribed a high official to cancel Yau's official rank, although he had already become the First Ranked Scholar. Learning her son's being dismissed, Luk's mother blames Tong and prevents Luk from seeing her. Furthermore, she forces him to marry another girl . In great sorrow, Yau plucks up his courage and meets Sin secretly. They pour out what has happened. At last, Tik seeks out the fortune-teller who was bribed by Law and exposes Law's conspiracy and joins the owners of the gold hairpin and jade bangle in marriage.
