内容介绍 :	Ching Sheung-man loses contact with his sweetheart Chiu Chen-yee during a raid by roaming bandits. Man flees to seek refuge with his Uncle Tsui King-nin at Tao Yuen. Tsui's daughter Fung-ha falls in love with Man. So Nin gives Ha to Man. Man is forced by his mother to marry his cousin Ha. Man meets Yee on his wedding day, he wants to break off the engagement. But Man's mother urges Yee to leave Man, Yee lies about her marriage into a rich family so as to ease Man's grief. Man marries Fung-ha. After the marriage, a disheartened Man goes to war, ready to die on the battlefield. Nin betrays his country and his property is all confiscated. Ha and Man's mothers become beggars. Yee finds them and helps them. Ha regrets what she has done to Yee, Yee forgives her. Ironically, Man returns with high honours and reprimands Yee for being heartless. Yee takes poison to declare her true feelings. Man follows suit. Luckily, the maid has switched the poison to avoid a tragedy from happening.
