内容介绍 :	A marriage between Leung Tung and Wong Mo-ching was arranged when they were young. Mo-ching's family is robbed and becomes destitute. Later, Mo-ching falls in love with the son of a discharged official, Hon Siu-hong. Mo-ching's mother forces her to marry Tung. Siu-hong leaves and joins the army. Tung's mother mistreats Mo-ching. Tung secretly supports Mo-ching's brother Chi-wan to go to the Capital and take the state examination. He then has to join the army on behalf of his father. Hon Siu-hong saves his life, and they become good friends. This time, bandits rob Tung's family, and Mo-ching accompanies her mother and mother-in-law to the Capital to look for Tung. Mo-ching's mother starves to death on the way. The remaining two find Tung, who thought they were dead and is about to marry one of the Prime Minister's daughters, Lau Sui. Accordingly, Tung wants to revoke the coming marriage. Lau Sui is infuriated and murders Tung. Siu-hong is suspected, and Tung's mother also accuses Mo-ching and Siu-hong of adultery. However, no one can find Tung's body. Chi-wan and Siu-hong's father are the judges and sentence them to death so as not to be seen to be biased. Just before the execution, a bolt comes out of the blue: the Duke appears and declares that Tung is still alive. People then suspect Lau Sui. She is tricked into write her confession in a temple. The two accused are acquitted, and Mo-ching is reunited with her husband Tung.
