内容介绍 :	The princess has been deeply devoted to praying and worshipping Buddha since she was a child. The King fears that she will not find a match, so he orders her to marry the general. The princess refuses. The royal families, who are jealous of her, speak ill of her. The King gives the order to remove all Buddhist temples. The princess still remains very pious. Finally, the King allows her to practise her religion in the White Bird Nunnery. However, he asks the abbess to make life difficult for her, so as to destroy her piety. The gods help the princess to overcome all difficulties, and the abbess finally accepts her as her follower. The King is infuriated and he burns the Nunnery so as to force the princess to move back to the palace. Although the general fails to save her, she is saved by Dharma the Great Monk. At last, the princess reaches the status of a deity and is given the name Kun-yum. Meanwhile, the King thinks that his daughter is dead, and he becomes sick . The flesh of his relative boiled with the medicine is needed to cure him. The princess cuts off her own arm to save her father, who converts to Buddhism after he is cured. Heaven is moved by her filial piety. She is given eight arms and seven hands. The general is also enlightened and together they practise their religion in the Wood of Purple Bamboo.
