内容介绍 :	Ben cohabits with his lover Lisa, and they are both dancers. They establish an independent dance troupe for the sake of achieving freedom of creativity. Ah Ching is also a dancer, but she gives up dancing owing to emotional problems. The lovers' troupe faces economic difficulties because their art lacks popular appeal. Lisa tries very hard to promote the troupe with some ultimate success, but marriage delay and abortion are the prices paid. Ben, likewise, has to bear the pressure from love and living. Not feeling competent, he finally parts with Lisa and withdraws from the troupe. Ben meets Ah Ching and they are attracted to each other. She also succeeds in gradually clearing up the psychological obstructions of Ben. Before long, they get married, live and work on one of the offshore islands, far from the busy world. Although Lisa has tried to persuade Ben to put on his dancing shoes again, he refuses because he realizes that he has no new creative inspiration. After the June-fourth Incident, the society is brimming with protest and accusation, which rekindles his creative urge to step on the stage again.
