内容介绍 :	Ngok Ming, a young man devoted to education work, and the Ching siblings Tsi-wo and Suk-ho are enthusiastic educators. Ming aspires to establish schools for overseas Chinese children in various parts of Malaysia. He falls in love at first sight with rich heiress Leung Cho-lin, but her father will only agree to sponsor the establishment of a school if Ming pledges himself to do business after their marriage. Ngok fails to put behind his aspiration and maintains his liaison with the Chings. Once, when discussing on the construction of new school buildings with Ho, Ming complains that, to his regret, he cannot practice what he has learned at school and that although Lin loves him, she does not understand him. Ming arrives late at a meeting of the Board of Directors, and, because of this, Lin's father transfers him to manage a rubber tree plantation. Ho visits Ming once again to talk about the new school building . An act misconstrued by Lin as evidence of Ming's infidelity. Later, Lin meets with a car accident and dies after giving birth to a daughter. A regretful Ming vows to continue his mission while committing himself to raising their daughter.
