内容介绍 :	Chui-lan is a beautiful and kind-hearted girl , always ready to help neighbors and others of the same trade. Therefore she gains the reputation of Queen of the Marketplace. Chun-wah, son of rich parents, falls in love at first sight with Chui-lan. Knowing that she has no favorable feelings towards young men from rich families, he disguises himself as a chef and frequents her vegetable stalls in order to get close to her. After working together several times, they gradually develop intimate relationship. Chun-wah's prurient father has wild fancies on Chui- lan, while Chui-lan's mother is greedy for the old man's money. The mother traps her daughter to be his prey. But unwilling to be raped, Chui-lan resists him with a fruit knife, and he is utterly scared. Finding that Chui -lan has suddenly disappeared, Chun-wah tries to relieve himself with heavy drinking. When he falls unconscious, his cousin sister pretends that they have sexual relationship. Chui-lan, having fled back to the market, meets Chun-wah, who has also sneaked away from his wedding, Chun-wah immediately explains everything to Chui-lan. Chun-wah's father also arrives at the moment. He comes to know that Chui-lan is his son's lover. The cousin sister is also disclosed to have had an affair with another man and tried to make Chun-wah a substituting father. All clouds of misunderstanding disappear and everyone is happy again.
