内容介绍 :	Ping Neung ill-treated by her stepmother, is in love with Ping Sang. Sam Long is in love with Ping Neung. He forms an alliance with Ho Hing, who is in love with Ping Sang, to sabotage the relationship. They put it about that Ping Neung is suffering from tuberculosis, bribing a charlatan to make a false diagnosis. Ping Sang's mother orders her son to separate from Ping Neung. Ping Sang is forced to go to Singapore. Meanwhile, Ho Hing tries to influence Ping Sang's mother to arrange her marriage to Ping Sang. The mother demands that Ping Neung leave Ping Sang. Ping Neung agrees under duress and removes herself to a friend house with her maid. She pretends to be dead. When Ping Sang arrives home, he learns of Ping Neung's death. He rushes to her grave to mourn but learns the truth when he sees Ping Neung's maid. When Ping Sang's mother appears, she too learns the truth and is at last convinced of Ping Neung's love for her son. The two lovers are reunited.
