内容介绍 : Princess Cheung Ping of the late Ming dynasty loves the talented Chow Sai-hin and offers him her hand in marriage. The Rebel King Lee Chi-sing's many uprisings follow. Emperor Chong Zhen hangs himself after killing his wife and daughter. Minister Chow Chung finds that Ping is still alive, Ping is saved with a wounded arm. On hearing the news of his wife's death, the Emperor's son-in-law, Hin is overwhelmed with grief. Chow Chung and his son intend to betray Ping in return for honour and wealth. And Ping hides out in Wei Mo Nunnery.
Soon, the dynasty crumbles down. Ping meets Hin in the nunnery and she strongly persuades him to leave. Only when, Hin resorts to killing himself does his wife admit her true identity. Hin brings along a Qing minister to visit Ping. Ping takes this as a sign of betrayal. Hin looks for a chance to explain his action to Ping. He says that since Chong Zhen is not yet buried and the prince is still in prison, the Qing Emperor will definitely agree to her request, provided that she can go to Qing to report the case. Pretending to surrender, she pleads with the Qing emperor to spare the life of the crown prince and allow her to bury her late father. The marriage of the couple proceeds, and on the wedding night, they declare loyalty to their dynasty by taking poison.
