内容介绍 :	Based on the folk legend of Xue Rengui and Liu Yingchun. The latter is a rich man's daughter who falls in love with the former, a poor garderner. Despite her father's opposition, Liu marries Xue. When the country faces a war crisis, Liu encourages Xue to join the army. Xue goes away to war and does not return for eighteen years. In that time, Xue's heroic feats get him promoted to field marshal. He returns home after eighteen years and reunites with his faithful wife.
