内容介绍 :	My Motherland is both a romantic and a patriotic war movie. When the Japanese invade China, countless refugees pour into Hong Kong. On a boat filled with refugees, young student Lin Huaibing meets Chen Jingfen. They discover later that Huaibing is the schoolmate of Jingfen's fiance, Bai Kanru. Kanru is a patriot secretly working for the Chinese government by smuggling arms into China. Because of his work, Kanru can spare no time for Jingfen. This leads to Jingfen drawing closer to Huaibing. Kanru returns to China in order that Jingfen may feel free to have a relationship with Huaibing. Kanru entrusts his job of smuggling arms to Huaibing. However, Huaibing falls victim to the wiles of Lucy Jin, a spy, leading to the destruction of the secret armoury. Jingfen grows cold towards Huaibing. She decides to return to China to look for Kanru. Finally, Huaibing too resolves to return to China to become a member of a commando unit. He sacrifices his life for his country.
