内容介绍 :	Orchid of the Valley is a melodrama about Kei Lan-sang, an army official who goes to the home of his deceased best friend To Si-kai to pass over his belongings. Kei meets To's sister, Pearl. They fall in love and marry. Pearl gives birth to a son, Leong-yin. However, their marriage comes up against an obstacle: the jealousy of Lan-sang's cousin Yau-wan. Lan-sang is seduced by Yau-wan during a drinking binge and this leads to a misunderstanding between Lan-sang and Pearl, who returns to her village in a fit of anger. Through a series of misunderstandings, Lan-sang is led to believe that Pearl is dead. He is forced by his mother to marry Yau-wan. Leong-yin is mistreated by his stepmother. At this point, Pearl misses her son and returns, disguised as a teacher, and, later, as a nurse to look after Leong-yin. Meanwhile, Yau-wan plans to murder Leong-yin. When her plan is exposed, Yau-wan attempts to escape. There is a car accident. On her deathbed, Yau-wan repents.
