内容介绍 :	Detective 223 buys one can of pineapple everyday with an expiry date of April 30 on it, after he is forsaken by his girlfriend. He hopes that she would change her mind before his birthday on May 1. When this hope fails to come true, he eats all the canned pineapple and then gets himself drunk in a bar where he meets a drug-dealing girl wearing a blonde wig. The girl falls asleep in a hotel room, with Detective 223 sitting beside her. He leaves after having four portions of Chef's salad. When he starts jogging early in the morning in a public playground, he is paged with a "Happy Birthday" message from the girl. Police Constable 663 buys a portion of Chef's salad late every evening for his girl friend who is an air-stewardess. Both the fast-food shop-owner and the girl employee, Ah Fei, begin to intrude upon his life. The former recommends different food items to please his girlfriend. Still, she leaves him with only the keys and a letter. Ah Fei secretly falls in love with PC 663 and cleans his room every afternoon. When PC 663 discovers her behavior, he proposes to meet her in California Bar. It turns out that she actually goes to California. They meet again in the fast-food shop a year later.
