内容介绍 :	The Han Emperor's painter, Mo Yin-sau, suggests that the Emperor needs to recruit a beauty to fill the position of the West Queen. In fact, he is using the chance to make money: whoever gives him the most handsome bribes will have their daughter's profile presented to the Emperor. A renowned beauty, Wong Chiu-kwan, refuses to bribe Mo. Lang Cheong who presents Mo with a lot of gold so his daughter, Lang Fung-kei, is eventually chosen to be the West Queen. Chiu-kwan becomes a maid at the palace. Chiu sings of her sorrow with her pipa and attracts the Emperor's attention. The Emperor is stunned by her extraordinary beauty. Chiu-kwan reveals the conspiracy between Mo and the Lang family. The Emperor replaces Fung-kei by Chiu-kwan and exiles Mo. When Mo meets the ethnic king, he vengefully glorifies the beauty of Chiu-Kwan and persuades the king to ask the Han Emperor for the Queen. The Emperor sends a maid, Chau-hung, to the king but Mo detects the Emperor's trick. Mo sneaks back into Han territory and has Fung- kei stolen Chiu-kwan's profile. When the king sees the Chiu-kwan's profile, he demands her submission or he will invade Han. Chiu-kwan sadly leaves her country and meets the king. She asks him to kill Mo and the king agrees. After she kills the villain, she jumps into a river and her corpse floats back to Han territory. The Emperor is heart-broken when he sees her body. In his dream, he dances happily with Chiu-kwan.
