内容介绍 :	During the reign of Emperor Song Zhen of the Ming Dynasty, Wu Sangui is dispatched to pacify the barbarian hordes at the border. From the hands of Minister Tian Wan, Wu wins over the beautiful Chen Yuanyuan. Despite his wishes to marry her, Chen persuades Wu to put off the marriage and concentrate instead on his campaigns. Wu leads his troops on an expedition beyond the border. This offers an opportune moment for the rebel Li Zicheng to seize the capital and instal himself as emperor. Once installed, Li writes to Wu, persuading him to come on his side. Wu later learns that Chen is now Li's woman. He leads the Qing troops gainst Li. The victorious Wu meets Chen for the last time. She takes poison to end her life, as a self-imposed retribution to compensate for the fall of the Ming Dynasty.
