内容介绍 :	Wong Tak-ming has grown up in the US. He fools around doing nothing, yet he spends lavishly and no one knows how he gets his money. The police bring to light a case involving a decomposed corpse with hydrochloric acid applied. Wong and his girl friend Kitty are charged on with murder and sentenced to death. The victim is an air hostess Brenda, once a lover of Wong. When Wong is serving his terms, he gets to know a social worker called Shirley. It so happens that Shirley is troubled by certain relationship of her when she first visits Wong. The latter takes the opportunity to give her advice and later controls her mind. Shirley and Wong become lovers and they hold their wedding in the prison. When Wong succeeds in getting for a retrial, Kitty dramatically admits all the charges. Wong is considered not guilty and is released, even though many doubts remain to be cleared. Shirley firmly believes that Tak-ming is innocent. She considers herself vindicated now that Kitty has admitted her crime. She understands the real situation and realizes that she is actually living in danger every day, only after Inspector Lau, the one she dislikes most, have analyzed all the doubts.
