内容介绍 :	Guan Jian approaches the public security bureau and accuses his mother Po Fung- ying of murdering his father Guan Shichang ten years age. After investigation, the bureau accepts the case. The parents of Guan Jian lead an insipid life together. His mother takes care of her husband and three kids at home. She also sells the beancurd she makes. His father is a school principal and he imposes strict discipline on Jian. So Jian is already very observant, even as a child. One day Jian and his mother fall into snow banks and fortunately, a neighbour Liu Dagui comes to the rescue. From then onwards, Jian's mother dates Liu in secret. This arouses Kin's doubts and suspicion. In addition, Jian's father compels his wife to look for Liu to reason with him. Yet, before the case is resolved, his father is although hospitalized for acute cerebritis and he dies shortly afterwards. Before his death, Jian sees his mother adding medicine to soup. He interrogates his mother and the latter claims that the medicine is in fact monosodium glutamate. Jian does not believe what she says and he thinks throughout his mother schemes to kill her husband. He wants justice done for his father. Therefore, he still puts the case to the bureau. At the end, Jian's mother is sentenced to death.
