内容介绍 :	Lee Chiu and Mei-mei are two young people who wish to serve their country. They become big stars after acting in a movie. As war rages in China, Lee Chiu and Mei-mei are forced to star in inconsequential melodramas because Producer feel they cannot make money with national defence movies. Disputes arise between Lee Chiu and Mei-mei, who are now married, when Lee Chiu refuses to act in inconsequential melodramas while Mei -mei does not mind. Lee Chiu's career declines while Mei-mei's career rises from height to height. Believing that Mei-mei has become decadent, Lee Chiu leaves her. Mei-mei finally comes to her senses. During a celebration to honour Mei -mei as the 'Movie Queen', Mei-mei makes a speech denouncing the film industry and walks out. Mei-mei and Lee Chiu are reunited.
