内容介绍 :	The story centers on four sisters. The elder sister is intelligent and is hardly moved by So Tin-man, who attempts to impress her by jumping off a building and into the sea. The second sister is madly in love with the opera actor Cheung Chi-wah. She becomes Cheung's fifth mistress but when Cheung abandons her, she has to make ends meet by becoming a hostess. The third sister is a libertine who has an affair with Lee Cheung, a hotel receptionist, in order to cheat him of his money. But she is in turn cheated by a playboy. The fourth sister is an innocent girl who falls in love with a student Fung Tak- lin who has just returned from France. However, Fung is married. The pregnant Pak is so despondent that she collapses from a miscarriage. In order to pay for Pak's medical bills, Lam extorts money from a man but is arrested and put in jail. Moved by the retrograde Lam's actions, Lee appeals to the Women's Association for assistance.
