内容介绍 :	Cheung Fai is used by Smoker Sing to cheat his wife's savings for buying fun in brothel with prostitute Ah Hung. When Japanese army attacks the city, Sing, disguising as Cheung's father, asks Cheung's wife to run away with her son To- sang first. He then sells Cheung's daughter Fung-yee to Aunt Three, the madam in Ah Hung's brothel. Fung-yee is tortured ever since she is little. When she grows up, she escapes from the brothel. She meets To-sang when she is looking for a job. They fall in love at first sight. Cheung happens to be the manager of the company. Fung-yee rents a room at To-sang's home and Mrs. Cheung wants to have her as her daughter-in- law. The company ceases operation and the staff's deposits are taken away. Cheung becomes the scapegoat. When he flees, he meets Ah Hung again and knows Fung-yee is his daughter. Sing meets Mrs. Cheung again and she still treats him as her father-in-law. Sing steals money from the Cheungs and frames up Fung-yee as the thief. Fung-yee leaves the house and is caught by Aunt Three. Cheung goes to To-sang's house to look for Fung-yee and reunites with his wife. They bring Sing to Aunt Three to find Fung-yee. Ah Hung comes out and speaks the truth. Aunt Three is arrested and the Cheungs have a family union.
